Earplug Measurement Day at Your Workplace

In short: A measurement day is a date arranged in advance with your organisation: we come to your workplace and take the ear measurement of every employee who signed up. After production, the earplugs are sent as agreed. The employer prepares a list of participants, a contact person and a quiet room. The type of protection for each role is set by the professionals in your organisation, and the date and format are checked in advance for each organisation. We come to you at no cost to take measurements. After the measurement day, the earplugs are sent to you by mail.

When several employees need a made-to-measure earplug, there is no need to arrange each one separately. You can set one date, and we come to your workplace by appointment.

How the measurement day works

  1. Getting in touch. One contact person in the organisation describes the work environment, the need and the number of interested employees.
  2. A planning call. We go over the type of work, the types of earplug requested and the location, and set a date in advance.
  3. A list of participants. The organisation collects the names of those interested and what each person will use the earplug for, even if they are not yet sure what suits them.
  4. On the day. We come by appointment and take the ear measurement of each employee, one at a time.
  5. Production and delivery. The earplugs are made to the measurement and sent as agreed. The production time is given after the measurement is taken.

Who it suits

A measurement day suits any organisation where several people need an earplug: factories and industry, construction and infrastructure sites, workshops and garages, gardening and farming, shooting ranges, event halls and dental clinics. Institutions and communities have a separate track: Custom earplugs for groups.

What we do, and what we do not

  • What we do. We take the ear measurement of each employee and make the earplug to the measurement and for the use you described.
  • Who decides on protection. The type of protection for each role and task is set by the professionals in your organisation, for example the safety officer.
  • What is not included. On a measurement day we do not measure noise and we do not carry out hearing tests.
  • What we do not publish. We do not publish technical values, and we do not promise a particular level of protection or what you will hear with the earplug in.
  • An earplug is not a medical treatment. If you have pain, discharge, irritation that does not go away or a sudden change in hearing, stop using the earplug and see a doctor. If there is pain, discharge, inflammation or a blockage in the ear, see a doctor first, and only then have the measurement taken.

After the measurement day

  • An employee who missed the day. We will check another date or another option with you.
  • A new employee. A new employee needs a measurement of their own.
  • A lost earplug. Where suitable, a replacement can be ordered from the saved measurement, after checking that it can still be used. About reordering
  • Simple rules for the team. Each employee keeps their earplug in their own case, and earplugs are not passed from hand to hand.
