Who they are for
People usually look for custom noise earplugs after foam plugs have let them down: they fall out, they are uncomfortable after an hour, or they block so much that conversation becomes impossible. Because a custom earplug follows the shape of your own ear, it is made for longer wear and a consistent fit.
- Noisy work: factories, construction, workshops and garages.
- Tools at home: DIY, renovation and garden machinery.
- Music and events: musicians, DJs, sound crews and frequent concert-goers.
- Travel: flights, trains and long journeys.
What to think about before ordering
- How many hours a day will you wear them?
- Do you need to hear people talking next to you, or alarms, while wearing them?
- Will the same earplugs also be used for something else, such as sleep? For night-time use, sleep earplugs are a separate type.
- Is this for you alone, or for a team at work?
We go through these questions with you on the phone, before booking a measurement. The answers shape what is made.
How it works
- A conversation about the use and the environment.
- We come to you by appointment, at home or at work.
- The measurement is taken with an ear impression or a scanning process, depending on the ear and the use.
- The earplugs are made to the measurement, from a flexible material.
- They are sent to you.
The production time is given after the measurement is taken. When possible, the measurements are kept so that a reorder is easier.
What we do not claim
We do not publish attenuation figures or standards for these earplugs on this page, and we do not make medical claims about them. If your workplace has specific hearing-protection requirements, check them with your employer's safety officer. Hearing protection reduces exposure; it does not treat existing hearing loss. If you already notice ringing, muffled hearing or difficulty following speech, a hearing test is a sensible next step.
For teams and businesses
Employers who want custom earplugs for a team can arrange measurements for several people. Tell us how many people, the type of work and the location. Background on reducing noise exposure is on protecting your hearing from noise.
Reorders and care
When the measurements were kept, a reorder may not need a new measurement; whether the existing measurement is still suitable is checked each time. Clean the earplugs regularly according to the instructions you receive, keep them in their case, and do not share them. If an earplug becomes uncomfortable, call us: repair and refit options are checked case by case.

Frequently asked questions
How is the measurement taken?
With an ear impression or a scanning process, depending on the ear and the intended use. We come to you by appointment.
Can one pair be used for work and for events?
Tell us about every use, and we will look at what suits you. Night-time use is usually better served by sleep earplugs.
Will I still hear people talking?
Tell us if you need to hear speech or alarms while wearing them. That is part of the conversation before the measurement.
How long does production take?
The production time is given after the measurement is taken.
Can my measurements be kept for a reorder?
When possible, yes. Their suitability is checked each time you reorder.
