Laboratory Service for Hearing Clinics and Businesses
Who this page is for
For professionals and businesses who support hearing-aid users and come across a device that needs checking or work: hearing clinics, practices, independent professionals, and businesses that handle customer requests. The page describes how we start working together; specific terms are agreed in a conversation and are not listed here.
How to start
- Introductory and coordination call: the expected number of devices, the device types and the faults you see most often.
- Delivery method: G-Sound provides hearing-aid service across Israel. Depending on the service area, the type of device and the fault, a home visit, pickup, delivery or handling at the laboratory can be arranged. Service options and cost are checked in advance for each case.
- One regular contact person: it helps to name one person at the clinic who receives updates and questions.
- How updates are given: agree how, and to whom, findings are reported after the check.
Labelling and records for each device
When several devices arrive together, labelling is what prevents mix-ups. With each device, include:
- The clinic’s internal reference, such as a file number or code, and no more personal information than is needed to identify the device.
- The type of device and the model, if known, and the side (right or left).
- The fault as the client described it, and since when it has been happening.
- Which accessories are included, if any.
On personal data, see our privacy policy (in Hebrew). The simple principle: send only what is needed to identify the device and work on it.
Who speaks to the client
When working with a clinic, it is important to agree in advance how communication is divided: whether the laboratory updates only the clinic and the clinic updates its client, or whether there are cases where direct contact is needed. The arrangement is agreed in a conversation. That way the client gets consistent information from one source, and the clinic keeps its relationship with its own client.
Cost and terms
Service options and cost are checked in advance for each case. The cost and the course of the service are explained in a conversation, according to what is needed. This page makes no commitment on turnaround times, a fixed scope of service or commercial terms; these are agreed with the clinic in a conversation.
We look at every request. Whether a device can be handled is decided after a check, according to the type of device and the type of fault. When manufacturer service is needed, the device is passed on accordingly and we keep you informed.
What helps day-to-day work
- A short, clear fault description for each device, even when several arrive together.
- Packaging that keeps the devices apart and stops them touching each other.
- A combined list of all the devices sent, to check against on return.
- Advance notice when a client urgently needs their device, so we can coordinate accordingly, without any promise of timing.
When the same device comes back
Sometimes a clinic’s client returns with the same complaint after the device was treated. In that case, mention in your request that it is a repeat request and include the reference under which the device was sent last time. That makes it possible to compare with the previous findings and understand whether it is the same fault or a new one. The next step depends on the check.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How does a clinic start working with the laboratory?
Start with a coordination call by phone or WhatsApp: the number of devices, the types of fault, the delivery method and the contact person on the clinic’s side.
Can several devices be sent together?
Yes, arranged in advance. Each device is labelled and comes with a fault description, so that it can be identified and reported on separately.
Who updates the end client?
This is agreed in advance with the clinic. In most arrangements updates go through the clinic’s contact person, and the exact arrangement is agreed in the call.
Are there fixed terms for clinics?
This page does not set out commercial terms. Service options and cost are checked in advance for each case, and the cost and the course of the service are explained in a conversation.
