Only one hearing aid connects: Philips HearLink
Only one side connects to the phone? What to check, in order.
Try in this order
- Turn Bluetooth off on the phone and turn it back on.
- Check that both hearing aids are paired with the phone.
- (Rechargeable) Check that the hearing aid that won't connect is charged and on. When you take it out of the charger, it turns on by itself.
- (Battery model) Check that the hearing aid that won't connect has a battery, that the battery is the right way round, and that the door is fully closed.
- Restart both hearing aids. After restarting, they stay in pairing mode for about three minutes.
- (Rechargeable) Turn the hearing aids off: press the lower part of the button on each hearing aid for 3 seconds. You will hear four descending tones.
- (Rechargeable) Turn them back on: press the lower part of the button on each hearing aid for 2 seconds, until the light turns green.
- (Battery model) Turn the hearing aids off: open the battery door on each hearing aid.
- (Battery model) Turn them back on: close the battery door on each hearing aid.
iPhone
- If only one hearing aid appears under Hearing Devices: tap Forget This Device, and pair again. Accept both pairing requests.
Android
- Try connecting again through the Bluetooth menu: Settings → Bluetooth → tap the name of the hearing aids.
- Didn't help? Re-pair through the app: Hearing Aids → Pair new hearing aids → Unpair Current → Pair now.
