Streaming drops out in your hearing aids? Simple checks for iPhone and Android.
Simple checks
- Bring the phone closer to the hearing aids. If the phone is in your pocket, turn it so the charging port faces up.
- Turn off Bluetooth on other devices you are not using right now (tablet, computer).
- Remove Bluetooth pairings you don't need from the phone.
- Check the battery level of the hearing aids.
iPhone
- Settings → Accessibility → Hearing Devices → Audio Routing → Media Audio. Choose where the sound should go.
- Have more than one Apple device? Make sure Audio Handoff is on, on the same screen.
- Close the HearLink 2 app on all devices. Start playing on the device you want, and only then open the app again.
- On all your Apple devices: the same iOS version and the same Apple ID.
Android
- Turn Bluetooth off and on.
- Turn airplane mode on and off.
- Close and reopen the app you are playing from.
- Restart the phone.
- Still not working? Unpair the hearing aids and pair them again through the HearLink 2 app.
