Changing the dome on a Philips hearing aid

When to change a dome and how, step by step.

Good to know

1. Domes are not cleaned. They are replaced.
2. It is recommended to replace them at least once a month, or as your hearing-care professional advises.
3. The dome size and type are set at the fitting. Don't switch to a different size without asking a professional.

Changing it, step by step

1. Hold the speaker (or the end of the tube) firmly and pull off the old dome.
2. Place the speaker exactly in the middle of the new dome.
3. Press firmly until the dome sits well and doesn't move.
