Getting ready for the home visit
Our English-speaking hearing-aid service covers the whole conversation, so the preparation can happen in English too. Before the home hearing test, it helps to gather:
- current hearing aids and their charger, if there are any;
- earlier hearing test results;
- a short list of the situations where hearing is hardest, such as family meals, synagogue, phone calls or the TV;
- a quiet room for the test.
None of this is required. It simply makes the conversation more focused and helps everyone at home follow what was discussed.
