Four levels: 9050, 7050, 5050 and 3050
Philips documents both styles at the same four levels. G-Sound presents 9050 as the top level of the four and 3050 as the entry level, with 7050 and 5050 in between. We do not list level-by-level feature claims here; the useful comparison is how each level sounds to you, in situations close to your week, with your test results in hand.
How to think about levels in general: hearing aid technology levels.
Which style suits whom?
- miniRITE R: the speaker sits in the ear canal, and the speaker size (60, 85 or 100) is chosen at the fitting.
- miniBTE R: sound travels through a hook or a thin tube, and Philips lists two fitting levels, 85 and 105, set in the fitting software.
- Comfort, dexterity, glasses and how you charge also matter. The decision is made after a hearing assessment, not from a table.
